Ten Cities, Ten Creatives, Ten Stories
Artists have forever been inspired by the vitality, grit, and diversity of cities. In return, artists have breathed life into our cities. They provide us with meaningful experiences and the opportunity to foster more robust connections to our local communities. During this time of isolation, Plus is proud to launch ‘City Talks,’ a new online initiative providing a platform for artists and creatives around the world to share their personal insights about the places they live in.
Each installment will feature one city and 10 conversations with diverse creatives exploring their artistic inspirations, starting with New York to bring their engaging insights in many forms to a global audience online.
City Talks: New York launches on Tuesday, March 30th, with the Chief Marketing Officer of Artsy, Everette Taylor. Plus will chat with Taylor about his daily life in Manhattan and the role that marketing plays in creating accessibility and inclusivity within the art world.
The featured creatives include Kyle Abraham, Phong Bui, JiaJia Fei, Lucia Hierro, Everett Taylor, Shara Hughes, Matthew Israel, Wade&Leta, Legacy Russell, and Hank Willis Thomas. A new conversation will be unveiled every Tuesday and Friday, and each will be shared through Plus’s online channels.
